PEG PEREGO SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH POLARIS INDUSTRIES

TO BUILD ATV VEHICLES FOR CHILDREN

Fort Wayne, Ind., December 2, 2002 – Peg Perego is expanding its unique line of children’s ride-on vehicles with two all-terrain vehicles licensed by Polaris Industries, the Polaris Sportsman 500 and the Polaris Sportsman 400.

The high-performance Polaris 500 Sportsman runs on a rechargeable 6-volt battery. This workhorse operates on light grass, dirt or hard surfaces and is a fun ATV for youngsters. It features a large seat, a front luggage rack, a rear luggage rack with a zippered bag and a brush guard The impressive Polaris 500 Sportsman runs forward at two-and-a-half miles per hour using an on-off foot pedal. Its automatic brakes are designed so that children ages three and up can have safe adventures. The Polaris 500 Sportsman is made in Italy.

The sleek, six-volt Polaris Sportsman 400 runs at its best on hard surfaces. Built for children ages two and up with a weight capacity of 65 pounds, this ATV looks like the real thing! It sports a simulated engine, handlebars with a simulated headlight and instrument panel, front and rear luggage racks, and a rechargeable battery. Young adventurers can enjoy the ride of their lives with the ATV’s wide wheels, a foot pedal that starts and stops the vehicle and automatic brakes. The Polaris Sportsman 400 is made in Italy.

WITH THE WORKSITE GATOR 4X2 AND THE POWER PULL TRACTOR

Fort Wayne, Ind., December 2, 2002 – The John Deere-Peg Perego partnership continues with the introduction of two new rechargeable battery powered models; the John Deere Worksite Gator 4x2 and the John Deere Power Pull children’s ride-on vehicles.

These high-performance vehicles are fun to drive and kids love to haul things in the Worksite Gator bed or the Power Pull’s trailer! Both operates on a 12-volt rechargeable battery and runs on all kinds of terrain, including grass, dirt and hard surfaces. Worksite Gator features an extra large dumping bed with a tailgate for hauling those heavy loads plus large adjustable seats, a large brush guard, a windshield, a play ignition key and a working horn.. The John Deere Power Pull Tractor features a large trailer, roll-bar and an adjustable seat. Both models move forward at two-and-a half and five miles per hour and in reverse at two-and-a-half miles per hour.
